Nothing But Blue Skies

Blues and yellows bursts forth with good cheer in this series. The panels are each created with individual tiles and coordinating bars. The basic design is easily customized in both size and color.

Fairy Forests

Featuring simplified floral designs on a multi hued green background, the panels are designed to be bright and uplifting. Modifying the floral elements and color choices allows the designs to be used in many settings.

Symbols and Signs

An ongoing series of glass panels representing abstract ideas and actual places. This design style works well in multi and monochromatic color palettes, and scales easily.

Through the Glass

Building on Warm mosaics , this series combines designs created on two surfaces to produce the effect of looking through a window to catch glimpses of the layer below.

These are used in numerous medical offices throughout the Children’s Hospital system. Art consultant: L’Attitude Art Client: Boston Children’s Hospital Multiple commissions, sizes vary.


Quilt Blocks

Based on traditional quilt patterns, these blocks range from 6-24 sq”. Multiple tiles are arranged on anodized aluminum backings for larger installations.

Shown here are sample tiles, 6″ square flush mounted on hardwood panels. Below are examples of framed 12″ tiles.

Below is an arrangement of custom tiles mounted to form a 2′ x 4′ installation. A second installation was commissioned and adapted in size to fit the space.

Sails

Beginning with a commission for a single sail, this playful design evolved for use in a number of healthcare settings.

Harbor Sights Art consultant: L’Attitude Art Client: Boston Children’s Hospital Along the hallway to the nuclear medicine department, these sails feature pictures of fish and mammals found in Boston Harbor. The installation is part of a larger design project for an area of the hospital where children may spend days full of appointments. Patients and their families are encouraged to participate in a scavenger hunt and learn about sea creatures nearby in the harbor.
